A group of our Junior and Senior players travelled to Romania to take part in the Badminton Cup Slănic Moldova, and what a weekend it turned out to be. From first‑time competitors to seasoned athletes, every player brought determination, fair play, passion, team spirit, and truly impressive badminton skills.
Our Head Coach Mark Peckham summed it up perfectly:
“It has been a great weekend in very enjoyable company, watching a bunch of like‑minded badminton nuts. Entertaining games from the ‘I have never played before’ crew to the last tense mixed final match of Tom and Elsa. From the well‑heeled international talent to brave parents and great juniors winning a hoard of medals. And gaining everlasting memories and friendship. These moments are priceless.”
