The Westgate Performance Centre is based at Westgate Badminton Centre, Winchester. The Performance Centre develops junior players of an elite standard who aim to compete at the highest level. Players within WPC are expected to meet the criteria set for their group, this criterion is set to ensure player development and they support players from entry level up to junior international level. WPC are also proud to have established working relationships and links with several primary schools in the local area. Our work with schools is designed to introduce young players to badminton and to increase participation of badminton in young children across Hampshire – whilst searching for our next Superstars !! Some of our players are regularly representing England, and competing across Europe & the world. We are proud to have players that are ranked amongst the top in Europe and the World on a junior level. Performance Centre players also represent Hampshire County Badminton at both junior & senior levels.
